FINANCIAL CONDITIONS 2023-2024 and 2024-2025

1. Registration and re-registration fees.

A registration fee of CHF 500.- as well as an advance on tuition fees of CHF 1'000.- are required for each school year (the latter will be deducted from the 1st term of schooling), payable on 1 April at the latest. These amounts remain with the School in the event of cancellation. The place is only confirmed after the above amounts have been paid on the date indicated, otherwise it will be given to another child on the waiting list.

 

2. Annual rates*.

Payment is due for the entire school year over 10 months. The school year is divided into three terms (September-December; January-March; April-June).

 

The cost of the compulsory annual fee is CHF. 21,950.-. including:

*The annual fees also include the morning snack, swimming, sports and motor skills lessons.

 

The following optional services, billed separately, are not included in the annual rate:

 

• supervised studies;

• Cambridge exams;

• preschool ;

• annual excursions;

• green classes or study trips.

 

Tuition fees are payable per term on the following dates:

The payment dates indicated above are imperative. Not respected, they give rise to a late payment penalty of CHF 50.- per reminder. No reduction in tuition will be granted due to the student's absence, withdrawal or expulsion.

 

3. Supervised studies

(afternoon snack included):

two hours per week CHF 800.-;

one hour per week CHF 500.-, per year.

 

The Foundation Board updates the rates for each new school year. The new rates are communicated to parents with the re-enrollment requests. Ecole des Nations (Montessori pedagogy) is a Foundation whose only resources come from school fees paid by parents for their child's education. It bears heavy fixed costs and large salary costs for its qualified staff, regardless of the number of pupils. The Foundation Board which manages it must therefore be strict in the management of its finances and its debtors.

 

** The document “Contract between the School and Parents”, which accompanies the “Financial Conditions” the “Admission Conditions” and the “Parents Manual”, must be signed by parents before registration and entry to the School becomes final. Otherwise, registration will not be accepted.
